My List

It’s that time of year again. In a necessary appeasement of the Festivity Industrial Complex, and for the benefit of those who’ve been asking, here’s What I Want For Christmas (with shameless sponsored links to amazon.com). More specifically, it’s a list of what books I want; I could do with clothes, but prefer to buy my own, and can always find a hole in my budget to fill with Xmas (and birthday) cash. Depending on how this year pans out, I may be planning an adventure for summer, and any early contributions would be welcome. Generally, steer clear of useless gadgetty tat.

Family members who read the blog, please point this list out to those who don’t. Those to whom I’m just a blogger can feel free to find inspiration for their own further reading. I don’t expect to receive all of the above, but it’s a nice kind of guide.

Krunch!

Thanks to a commenter at Lenin’s Tomb for finding this paragraph of wonder:

Nothing too groundbreaking there, as far as content goes; if it had been written in one of my regular blogs and newsletters, I’d have shrugged it off as stating the obvious. But it didn’t come from there. It came from the Torygraph.
